Yankee is a white-sand beach 9 kilometers south of San Juan del Sur. It is a fast perfect left point break with hollow barrels when conditions are right. With good swell direction it can hold up to 8 foot waves and is best at mid to high tide.

The Costa Dulce development above Escameca beach is located 11 kilometers south of San Juan del Sur. It is home to small to medium sized fun beach break that has both lefts and rights. The surf wave here is relatively unknown and often empty. There is currently one house finished with great surf access and two more should begin construction in the first quarter of 2009.
