Nicaragua Real Estateommunity REfund initiative - February 2008

Aurora Beachfront Realty is proud to announce its participation in the Community REfund initiative. The idea behind Community REfund is to support projects that add to the sustainable development of the San Juan del Sur community. These include small community organized endeavors, such as building a new well or providing uniforms and school supplies for students, and a program designed to support local small business owners as they invest in their business and in themselves.

The first donation was made by Aurora client Nita Shitara and a portion of the sum was matched by Aurora and the agent in the deal. The combined funds are earmarked for the construction of several self-composting latrines in the community of Boca de MontaƱa, located just east of the urban area of San Juan del Sur.
