Born in Newton, Massachusetts Zach moved south to study at the University of Maryland in College Park. After Graduating in 1998 from the College Park Scholar International Studies program with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish Language and Culture Zach decided to move to the Czech Republic. He lived in Prague for one year, teaching English and enjoying the Eastern European lifestyle.

After returning to Boston he began working at a young biotech company in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In two years at Praecis Pharmaceuticals Zach gained experience in website management, marketing, search engine optimization, investor and public relations and community outreach initiatives.

Zach relocated to Central America in 2003. After living in Leon, in the northern region of Nicaragua, for a year he moved to San Juan del Sur in 2004. Zach now lives full time in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. His extensive knowledge of the real estate market in Nicaragua and fluency in Spanish have helped catapult Aurora to one of the leading real estate brokerages in San Juan del Sur.
