Graduated from the Boston University School of Management with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a concentration in finance.
Aram came to Nicaragua in 2002 as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Small Business Development Program. He spent one year working in a Natural Reserve in Chinandega as a consultant to a local NGO helping with a variety of programs ranging from a community micro-credit fund to conservation projects such as sea turtle nurseries and mangrove restoration.
He spent his second year in the colonial university city of Leon co-founding a scholarship program which finances thesis work for Nicaraguan students who do their thesis work in Natural Reserves. The program UniversitArea Protegida is moving into its third year of development and has U.S. non-profit status as a project of the Earth Island Institute of San Francisco.
Since completing his Peace Corps service he spent 5 months researching, exploring and setting up family and personal investments in Nicaragua until joining forces with Aurora Realty to start its Beachfront Branch.
